On January 31, the winter storm hit the southwest, east and parts of the southeast of the United States, for several days, the storm continued to rage in the United States, resulting in some areas of the road was blocked, and the recent logistics delivery in many states of the United States caused significant impact.
This round of winter storms has now caused delays in booking and limited operations at many Amazon U.S. warehouses
1. Appointment delay
At present, SBD1, LAX9, GYR3, SMF3 have at least 10-20 days reservation delay, and multiple warehouses have reservation delay at the same time, which will definitely have a significant impact on the sellers’ goods on the shelves, so the affected sellers may consider using third-party overseas warehouses as a transition first, and then resume the warehousing when the situation improves.
2. Temporary closing of positions
SBD1 and SMF3 warehouses have been temporarily closed due to internal Amazon warehouse maintenance issues, in addition to delayed appointments. The specific opening time of the warehouse is not yet determined
3. Operating limits
QXY9 due to operational restrictions, Amazon has not approved the appointment, the specific delivery date is not known; at the same time, KRB7 AWD satellite warehouse is also due to operational restrictions, the earliest delivery date given by appointment is the end of May to early June, Amazon logistics to the response is: the current pickup date is expected to be 2-3 weeks later, and can not give a specific date.
4. Delivery Delay
This round of storms led to the temporary closure of major traffic routes in Texas, FTW1/FTW9/FTW5/DFW6 and other directional bins to Dallas, card dispatch and UPS delivery are delayed to varying degrees, and no specific recovery time can be expected at this time.
