Houthis claim to have fired multiple missiles and hit two MSC-owned container ships with pinpoint accuracy

Yemeni Houthi spokesman Yahya Sarea said in a statement via social media X (formerly twitter) on April 7 local time:

Houthi forces in the past 72 hours against the British and Israeli merchant ships as well as the U.S. warships launched a number of attacks, and successfully hit a number of container ships!

The spokesman said: The Houthis carried out a precision strike on a British container ship named “Hope Island” (HOPE ISLAND) sailing in the Red Sea waters, firing a number of missiles and successfully hitting the target!

At the same time, the Houthis also carried out targeted strikes against two Israeli ships that were allegedly on their way to an occupied Palestinian port, one of which, the MSC GRACE F, was located in the Indian Ocean at the time of the attack, and the other, the MSC GINA, was located in the Indian Ocean, and the other, the MSC GINA, was located in the Indian Ocean. “One container ship, the MSC GRACE F, was in the Indian Ocean at the time of the attack, and the other, the MSC GINA, was in the Arabian Sea at the time of the attack.
