The Vancouver Port Workers Union Alliance has decided to initiate a 72-hour strike at all four ports in Vancouver starting from July 1st. This strike may impact certain containers, and updates will be provided regarding its duration.
The affected ports include the Port of Vancouver and Prince Rupert Port.
Additionally, BCEMA has confirmed that services for cruise ships will continue, indicating that the strike will primarily focus on container vessels.
For our shipments of containers from China to Vancouver, if they are scheduled to arrive in the near future, there may be delays in container pickup. Furthermore, please note that July 1st to July 3rd is the Canadian National Day holiday, with normal operations resuming on July 4th. During the holiday period, customs clearance and delivery may experience delays. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Thank you.
